Born in Wilmington, Delaware where she spent much of her life, Ethel P.B. Leach (1878 – 1960) was known as the dean of women artists in Delaware during the first half of the twentieth century. She gained much respect on the East Coast for a lengthy career that included illustration, interior scenes, landscapes, portraits, and floral depictions.
