Artists Nina Mickelsen and Tara Funk Grim add color and pizzaz to the City of Rehoboth's new Municipal Building with courageous, daring and complex use of color in their works.

This exhibition weaves our local unique beach culture with pieces of familiar sites, icons and shapes. Unpretentious beaches, the familiar, down-to-earth offerings and the uncomplicated and unencumbered feel of our local beach culture are depicted in a dramatic new way.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware where she spent much of her life, Ethel P.B. Leach (1878 – 1960) was known as the dean of women artists in Delaware during the first half of the twentieth century. She gained much respect on the East Coast for a lengthy career that included illustration, interior scenes, landscapes, portraits, and floral depictions.
