On November 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., an Art League tradition will return to the pleasure of artists and patrons alike. The 2011 Holiday Fair will feature 30 fine arts and craft artists exhibiting and selling their work, including jewelry, glassworks, pottery, clay sculpture, painting, woodworking, mixed media, and decorative and wearable fiber creations.
Patrons can stroll the Art League campus and visit the artists in four buildings to select the perfect gifts for family, friends and themselves. (See guide to artists' locations) The Village Improvement Assn. will offer a delicious luncheon featuring their signature chicken salad. Snack items include a bake table with many and varied sweets, along with several beverage choices.
Each Holiday Fair artist will donate a piece of their work for a “Silent Ticket” Auction and patrons receiving one chance to win with their $5.00 admission fee can buy additional auction tickets before the 3:00 p.m. drawing. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Rehoboth Art League’s educational and outreach programs.
