 On Saturday, November 19th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the Rehoboth Art League invites the public to their Holiday Open House event. The day will include art demonstrations and activities for adults and children, beautiful instrumental music performed by Aaron Taylor, Michelle Peters, and students of Taylor Music Studios and light refreshments.
Patrons will be offered learning experiences as they view pottery and print making demonstrations. Children can learn about 3-D art and tasty bridge building at two hands-on workshops. A holiday decorating workshop by Diane Pirkey will be offered, but pre-registration and a $15 materials fee are required. The schedule includes:

Pottery demonstrations between 10 am and 4 pm

EZ Cut Linoleum Printing Demonstrations, 10 am to 4 pm

Diane Pirkey’s “Holiday Centerpiece” workshop from 11 to 12 pm (Requires preregistration and $15 materials fee. (click here)

“Pop-Up Op Art” and “Spicedrop Bridge Build” for children from 1 to 4 pm
 The Corkran, Ventures and Paynter galleries will have beautiful artwork and fine craft items themed for holiday gift giving and patrons will be able to choose unique gifts within a broad price range. The Tubbs Gallery will feature “A Survey of Jack Lewis: From Home & Beyond”, a special exhibition hosted by the Art League and the Raubacher Gallery. (see more)
This exhibit and holiday themed members’ artwork can be seen through December 2011. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sundays, 12 to 4 pm.
