Driving Directions to the Rehoboth Art League

 In order to reach Rehoboth Beach, all interested parties should first consult a map for directions to Route #1.

The following directions are for finding the Rehoboth Art League by coming from either the south or the north on Route #1.

From the North
1. Heading south on Route #1, take left hand turn marked “Route 1A” into Rehoboth Beach (also marked “Henlopen Acres, North Shore”).

2. After crossing the canal draw bridge, go around the traffic circle ¾ of the way and take the Columbia Ave. exit.

3. Bear right onto Columbia Ave. and follow it up to 2nd Street.

4. Turn left on 2nd Street.

5. 2nd Street becomes Dodds Lane when it enters the Henlopen Acres subdivision (which is marked by mill stones inlaid in brick).

6. After the intersection of Dodds Lane and Rolling Road, the Rehoboth Art League is the entire block on the right – about 3 ½ acres of woods and rustic buildings. There are 4 driveway entrances into the parking lot. The office is in the building at the bottom of the hill.


From the South

1. Heading north on Route #1, go through Dewey Beach and cross the canal bridge. There is a Lee F. Slaughter car dealership on the right just before you go over the bridge.

2. Take the second right onto Church Street after crossing the bridge. Abizak’s store is on the right (bright purple and green building) and the YMCA will be on your left.

3. Go to the first stop sign and turn right. This is Rehoboth Ave. extended.

4. Stay on Rehoboth Ave. until you cross the canal draw bridge.

5. Follow the directions listed above for those approaching from the north, starting with step # 2.
