| Introduction: | Rehoboth Art League will host the 2011 Outdoor Art Show over two weekends in August—August 13th & 14th and August 20th & 21st—from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Saturdays) and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Sundays). (Rain or shine) This year over 100 selected artists from the Mid-Atlantic region will be selling beautiful creations in a wide variety of media. Patrons will be able to stroll around and view the artwork on Rehoboth Art League’s 3.5-acre campus which is shaded and tastefully landscaped. Delicious food for lunch or snacks will be available to eat in a picturesque garden while listening to music, or strolling among the artists’ tents. Underwritten by Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty, the 2011 Outdoor Art Show will feature newly expanded children’s activities hosted by the Kid’s Cottage, and a commemorative t-shirt. An entry fee of $5/weekend will help to support the mission of the Rehoboth Art League. | |
| | Parking & Shuttle Bus: | PARKING IN HENLOPEN ACRES IS LIMITED. PLEASE ADHERE TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS INCLUDING NO PARKING ON THE STREET. UNLESS THERE IS A "NO PARKING" SIGN, ALL VEHICLES MUST PARK ON THE GRASS WITH TIRES OFF THE PAVEMENT. Free shuttle service is available from the KMART shopping center on Route 1. Two shuttles will run on Saturday beginning at 9:45 from KMART and ending at 5:15 from the Art League. One shuttle will run on Sunday from 9:45 am at KMART until 3:15pm at RAL. | | Entry Fee: | Entry fee $5.00 each weekend.

(Click for map) | | Bill Holman Dedication: | Please join us for a ceremony to remember Bill Holman and recognize his contribution to the Rehoboth Art League as treasurer. The celebration will be held at the opening of the 38th Annual Fine Arts & Fine Craft Outdoor show on Saturday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. A new tent bearing his name will be dedicated, and located at the central entry point of the show. | | Commemorative Shirt: | Purchase a commemorative shirt to help raise funds for permanent collection  Howard Schroeder (1910-1995), a nationally known artist who lived in Lewes, was an active member of the Rehoboth Art League for many decades. As a teacher, he influenced hundreds of artists in the area. He loved to paint out doors. And he was a regular artist at the Art League's Outdoor show. In fact, it was his idea to start up this tradition at the League; indicating that the indoor exhibition space was not enough to showcase all of the artwork.
