NOTE: Tuition must accompany
registration. There will be a $5 processing fee charged for students
canceling one week or more in advance of class start date. A $25 fee
will be charged to students canceling fewer than seven days before
class start date. No refunds will be made once the class has
started.

The Rehoboth Art League is proud to present its educational
program for 2008. Again, for your convenience, the Calendar of Events for the
RAL has also been included in the catalog. Many new classes have been added,
with previous favorites returning. There are more than 50 workshop offerings in
many diverse fields, from the traditional to the cutting edge, in fine art and
crafts. Artists and artisans of all skill levels can find classes to enhance
their learning experience. There are also many classes geared toward the
beginner that could launch a new vocation.
As you first glance through the following catalog of classes, note the
information that is provided. For those who wish to know what classes take place
in a given month, there is a monthly listing by course and teacher, and then by
a general category such as “painting.” Each workshop reference includes the
course title, the skill and age level, instructor, course description, dates,
times, location, and supply list. There is also a biographical sketch about each
instructor listed under “Faculty.” The fee information shows the tuition for
members and nonmembers and any material fees. Please note that some fees are
payable to the Rehoboth Art League and some directly to the instructor. Fees due
instructors should be paid the first day of classes.
There are class registration forms in this publication for your use. Early
registration is recommended because classes do fill up. All fees, including
tuition and material fees due to the RAL, must be sent with registration forms.
One last piece of advice – many of our workshops occur over a lunch period or
several hours. It is recommended those students bring a bag lunch. One of the
advantages of the Rehoboth Art League’s location is that it is far from the
hustle and bustle … and any retail food establishments.
