Awards Judge

This year's awards judge is artist and curator René Treviño. Mr. Treviño received a BFA with Distinction in Painting at the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY, as well as attended classes at the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He then went on to earn an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore, MD. He has been in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and has served as curator for a number of regional projects and exhibitions. From 2009 - 2014, he served as the Exhibitions Manager at School 33 Art Center, in Baltimore, MD. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor at Towson University in Towson, MD and at the Maryland College of Art in Baltimore, MD.
