2017 Salons

Nina Mickelsen stands with her work Catching Three Goden Fish

During the 75th Anniversary of the Art League in 2013 the RAL introduced monthly Salons - special evening gatherings with art discussions and refreshments held in private homes. By popular request the League will again offer Salons during 2017, this year bringing the discussions to the collectors to hear about specific interests and how personal collections of art have evolved and expanded.

Each Salon is hosted by a local homeowner and features a private overview of a collection of artwork, complete with discussion of artists, creative movements, art history, and more (reminiscent of the fashionable Paris Salons during the 17th century). Discussions are led by the homeowners and/or a leading professional on the evening’s topic. Unless otherwise noted, the registration fee is $35 per person.
