Class Information
We all love animals and especially our pets! Get creative and paint your favorite pet or animal in acrylic! Choose your favorite picture and if possible, draw (or trace) it on the canvas prior to class. In a short demonstration (using acrylics), the instructor will model how to identify the different values in her photo (the lights, mediums, or darks), the mixing of colors, and the application of paint. I will guide and assist each artist in creating a realistic portrait.

A photograph of the pet or animal – 8×10
Tracing paper provided in class is needed
Oil or Acrylic paints – variety of colors
Canvas or canvas paper
