Beginner Drawing

Class Information

A beginning artist is starting a journey that may last a lifetime. This class will prepare students with foundational skills  to include the materials and tools of drawing, shapes, shading, scale, proportion and composition. We will also touch on the soft skills of  close observation and developing hand-eye synergy and learning to see and understand the world in new ways. The course is based on “The Natural Way to Draw” by Kimon Nicliades and “Drawing From The Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards.
