Drawing and Painting with Sumi Ink

Class Information

This course is designed for students who are drawing regularly and would like to know how to work with pencil and Sumi Ink. In this class, pencil is used as an under-drawing for an ink drawing. Students will also receive instruction in the use of Japanese Ink Brushes.

 

Especially helpful for anyone interested in Japanese Ink Painting or, Graphic Novels/Manga

Materials Fee: $35 (Covers Ink, Paper, Brushes, and Jars) Students keep Jars and Brushes! —but to bring a notebook/personal sketchpad is always a good idea.
