Break Free of Convention to Draw or Paint Your Way!
This workshop is designed to support artists in developing a personal style, conveying messages, telling a story. While the studio is open to artists of all experience levels it is recommended to have a grasp of foundational drawing skills and painting techniques. Any previous experience in Beginner or Intermediate classes will be fine.
Supply List
Bring your ideas and inspiration.
Easels and tables are provided. Examples of Expressive Art styles will be presented as slides.
Instruction is provided on an individual basis.
Bring the supplies you like to use.
Any and all drawing materials to include paper (the larger the better), pens, pencils, charcoal, pastels
Any and all painting materials to include canvas (the bigger the better), paint (acrylic or oils), brushes
Any solvents should be odor-free and non-toxic ie. Gamsol
Fixative sprays will need to be applied outside the building
