Intermediate Drawing

Class Information

Drawing is the foundational skill for all other forms of visual art. Through the observation and interpretation of the natural world the artist gains understanding of form and discovers effective ways to express ideas. The class covers in-depth skills of line, mass, value, and modeling of form, perspective, and composition. The course is based on the methods of instructors Kimon Nicolaides (The Natural Way to Draw) and Betty Edwards (Drawing From the Right Side of the Brain).
