Mindful Photography: Seeing with the Heart and Soul

Class Information

Mindful Photography: Seeing with Heart and Soul is a creative, restorative introduction to photography as an art of presence rather than technical perfection. Participants learn to slow down, reconnect with their senses, and see the world with curiosity and intention. Using any camera or smartphone, students explore light, color, texture, and emotion in their surroundings. Each session includes a brief meditation, guided photo walk (weather permitting), creative prompts, and group reflection. The final session culminates in a mini exhibit and discussion, where students display favorite images. Students leave with a personal collection of meaningful photographs and tools to continue practicing photography mindfully. Registration includes a $15 printing fee.
