Making a Mosaic Garden Totem

Class Information

This class is an intermediate mosaic class for those who have completed at least one mosaic class and who possess skills in the use of wheeled nippers, cutting, shaping and adhering mosaic title to a substrate; familiarity and experience with adhesive used for mosaics; and grouting a mosaic. This is not a beginner’s mosaic class.

This class will enhance the students mosaic skills and knowledge through the creation of a mosaic totem for interior or exterior use. The class will include instruction in substrate preparation, the application of mosaic tiles and stained glad to a round surface, adhesives and sealants for the totem, and display and mounting options for these pieces.
