Pottery for All Levels

Class Information

Beginners to intermediate welcome.  There will be an emphasis on hand building for beginners.  Intermediate students will receive additional guidance to advance their skill sets.  There will be structured hand building lessons in this class including slumping, stamping, sgraffito, constructing cylinders, creating templates, and using underglazes. For intermediate students, it’s an opportunity to pursue personal projects with the advice and counsel of your instructor.  Lessons will cover basic good construction techniques along with a serious introduction to using our studio glazes and surface treatment.

Individuals who have previously taken an introductory Wheel Throwing class are also welcome to join. Please note that this class will not include an introduction to the pottery wheel.
