Supplies Needed:
12×16 paper that will be used for a 11×14 image area. 140lb weight is ideal. Go for brands like Arches, Fabriano, or Saunders
Brushes: Proper type, quality watercolor brushes are important to producing quality paintings. Get the best you can. You only need a few.
Preferably a large pointed mop. Natural squirrel hair no synthetic.
A small pointed mop. Natural squirrel hair.
A rigger (long hair brush) to create fine lines.
Small synthetic pointed brush for details.
Utility brushes: synthetic, flat or filbert shaped, small and medium sizes.
Paint:
Tube watercolor go for brands like: Faniel Smith, Schmincke, Blick, or Koi
Hues: Neutral Tint, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine Turquoise, Verifer Blue, Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre, Opera Pink, Pyrol Orange, Pyrol Red, Pyrol Scarlet, Alizarin Crimson, Sap Green, Viridian, Cad Yellow, Brown Madder, Lavender, Chinese White, Juane Brilliant, Titanium White
