Selected Works from the Permanent Collection
Works on Paper
November 13, 2020 - December 13, 2020
The Permanent Collection of the Rehoboth Art League encompasses several hundred 2D and 3D pieces of fine art, with a focus on artists of particular importance to the early formation and ongoing development of the organization. While traditional paintings in acrylic and oil are often in the spotlight with collections of artwork, this exhibition brings works on paper to the forefront. From paper college to pen and ink, and from pastel to block prints, these works represent some of the League’s earliest pieces, including a triptych created in 1913 by Ethel P.B. Leach. Additional works on paper are included from artists such as Theresa Airey, Doris Bauer, Chen Chi, Nanette Currie Cunliffe, and Mary Lou Richardson.
