About this event

A wide variety of fine art jewelry will be on display and available for purchase during this two-day exhibition. This select group of artisans, representing some of the most creative and talented in the region, will be present to discuss the inspirations behind their works and the processes used in creating them.

Jurors

Aimee Petkus and Kaitlyn Evans

Aimee Petkis earned a BS in natural resources (with a concentration in geology and commercial recreation and tourism)  from Colorado State University and a BFA in metals and jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She combines forms and elements found in both the organic and inorganic worlds that reflect the duality of her interests in science and creativity.

Kaitlyn Evans earned a BFA in jewelry and metalsmithing from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Forever fascinated by boxes and lockets, she has been fabricating these and other objects since starting her metalsmithing career in 2006.
