Going Deeper: Finding the Inspiration from Within
Works by Karen Burns
September 6, 2019 - October 13, 2019
The process of creation fascinates me. How we move from thought, to word, to deed intrigues me, especially as it relates to creating art. I am currently experimenting with intention, prayer, music to use as a springboard for creating digital work that inspires individuals to grow and explore and be all that they can be. Previously a watercolor artist, this process was connected from my brain to my hand and flowed smoothly onto the wet paper. Using digital technology has given me the opportunity to experiment with out fear of damaging what has already been created, but the process is entirely different. As I continuously learn and play with this new medium, I hope to be able to create a more intuitive process that I can share with others.
