Opening Reception: Friday, September 26, 2025 (5pm-7pm)

Homestead

This exhibit showcases paintings from the League’s permanent collection paired with a floral arrangement inspired by the painting, created by regional floral designers. Participating designers include:

Robert Kovalcik, is the former designer/owner of South Pacific Florist, the celebrated flower shop that was a mainstay of Rehoboth Beach for 26 years. Inspired by his love of gardening, Kovalcik created extraordinary arrangements for private homes, weddings, events and many of the fine restaurants and hotels of Rehoboth Beach. A highlight of summer for him was always decorating the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center for the annual Sun Dance event with his beautifully lit arrays of flowers. People ask what he misses most about his business and the answer is always the same, his wonderful customers and the joy flowers brought into their lives. In addition to being a florist, Kovalcik is a happily retired hospital pharmacist, enjoying his world travels.

Ken Norman, AIFD, PFCI, a third-generation floral designer and owner of Floral Inspirations, which he opened in Lewes, DE in 2015.
