Class Information
This class will specifically focus on teaching the fundamentals of painting. Stroke, composition, layout, value, notan, and color analysis will be covered to gradually help the beginner to be more comfortable with acrylic painting.
Supply List
Mixed brushes (round and flat)
Palette knife
Acrylic Paint: Titanium white, cadmium yellow medium, ultramarine blue, cadmium red medium, green, orange and purple.
Acrylic medium, for mixing (comes in matt or gloss)
Mixing surface (Many artists use a disposable palette. I use a Masterson palette as it can keep paint wet for an extended time.) The cheapest surface is a white paper plate.
Painting Surface: I recommend a 9″ x 12″ canvas pad. This is nice for beginners but any canvas surface is fine.
