Class Information
You will learn the basics of how to use pencil, charcoal, and ink. The focus is on shading, strong “mark making,” and learning various ways to use the three mediums. The instructor will provide the photo source materials, and most of the supplies for you – and will work with each student individually, meeting them at their current skill level.
Supply List
In addition to the registration fee, there is a $20 materials fee to be paid to the instructor the first day of class. Students will get: Standard Drawing Paper, Charcoal Paper, Bristol Board, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B or Ebony pencils, Fine Marker, Vine Charcoal & Kneaded Eraser. The only thing students need to bring is a notebook/personal sketchpad.
