Class Information
Starting or enhancing an art piece with collage papers is a contemporary method of developing artwork. We will create collage papers and apply to an existing or new piece of substrate.
Supply List
Papers (art, tissue, deli, newspaper, etc.), torn up paintings, magazines
Acrylic fluid Matte medium for gluing, solid gel medium if heavier papers
Acrylic paints (fluid, tube), white gesso
Paint brushes, rollers, etc.
Stencils, art pencils/crayons, drawing materials
Scissors
Geill printing plates (optional but fun), brayers
Substrate material – mixed media paper no less than 98 lbs. or canvas or cradled wood panel
