Class Information
The wonderful medium of pastel is perfect for beautiful and dramatic paintings; Katie will instruct the student on a range of techniques in the fun and informative workshop. Value, composition, and color theory will be discussed and demonstrated. This workshop is open to beginners and more experienced artists. Students will work from their own photographs.

Small sketchbook for studies
Graphite pencil or vine charcoal
Roll of paper towels
Backing boar (a piece of black foam core (16” x 20” or so)
Masking tape
