Class Information
Shading is the art of using light and dark to create the feeling of a 3-dimensional object on a 2-dimensional surface.
You do not need to know how to draw at all to learn how to shade in this class—making this a good class for beginners and advanced students alike. The mediums we will use are pencil, charcoal and ink.
Supply List
Materials Fee: $25, to be paid to instructor during first day. Materials are provided by the instructor. You don’t need to bring anything. (But a notebook might be handy to take notes if you want.)
