Watercolor, Pen & Ink Miniatures

Class Information

Using pen and ink and watercolor techniques, participants will make miniature life drawings of bees, berries, fish, shells, landscapes, and more. The drawing will then be incorporated into one-of-a-kind notecards or special tiny hanging works of art.

Supply List

Pilot, Precise V5 Rolling Ball Pens, fine or extra fine Sharpie pens permanent (Technical Pens are acceptable, but expensive, and may need to be filled. Crow Quill pens and ink are acceptable, but messy!)
Quality watercolor paints, pan or tube
Watercolor pencils (optional)
Watercolor paper 140lb. or higher, cold-pressed and/or mixed media paper
Watercolor brushes: Flat 6 and/or 8, Round 4 and/or 6, 8
No. 2 pencil
White, Staedtler, Mars Plastic eraser
Additional supplies will be discussed at the first class.
