Advanced Pottery (B) Hand-Building
Advanced Pottery is only open to students who are proficient and consistent in wheel throwing and/or hand building skills, have the desire to push their current comfort levels to learn new techniques, and have the prior approval of the instructor. Emphasis is placed on the design and execution of more complicated clay objects.

This class will primarily focus on hand-building techniques for beginners. Participants will learn basic construction methods along with a thorough introduction to glazing and surface treatments. Individuals who have previously taken an introductory Wheel Throwing class are also welcome to join. Please note that this class will not include an introduction to the pottery wheel.
